I had these clubs in my bag at the end of the millenium, sold them some 5 years ago and switched to Adams Tight Lies 2 (the Adams 22° 7 wood suited my bag better then the SC 24° 7 wood). I found them to play very similar and the same lofts (16° and 19°) played at the same distance (even there was some 20 years difference in technology).

Now I repurchased the Super Concord 5 and 7 wood and fitted them on MCS 75 shafts (A/L flex - 1" extra tip trim to the A flex to produce a flex similar to R with a somewhat lower trajectory). I find them a bit easier to hit and I got the 5m distance gain I was looking for.

Comparing two clubheads with 20 years of technology difference shows that they got it right the first time around.

Advantages: Exists in higher lofts. Easy to hit, even from the rough.

Disadvantages: Does not exist in a 21-22° loft. The gap (5°) between 5 and 7 wood could be to important for some setups.

I bought this 14 degree driver head to help me get the flight I want off the tee. This works for me, and I am pretty sure I could hit it off the fairway too if needed.

Advantages: The 460 cc head is what I needed. Even a little miss-hit is still OK with a head this size.

Disadvantages: This only came with a 1 degree closed face. I would prefer a square face because I pretty much always draw the ball off the tee already. Still like it anyway.

The xv blade is more forgiving than a typical blade , soft feeling but not as soft as a forged. If your on a budget these should definitely be on your radar

Excellent shaft ... used regular flex on a f-35 7 hybrid ... one of my favorite clubs now

Very nice shaft. I got it in R flex and coupled this with a higher lofted head (12 degree), which delofted the flight to more like an 11 degree. Tight dispersion, nice distance, too. I have a slower swing speed and this combo works perfectly for me.

I find that the Heater F-35 cup face Driver coupled with the Syntec Ultra 45 gram senior flex shaft is a great combo for seniors. I am driving the ball like I drove ten years ago. Several customer say they are getting 20-30 yards more on their drives. I heartily recommend this combo for seniors.

I bought one of these and put it on my 3 Wood. What an improvement! When I get around to replacing the others in my set I would not buy anything else.

I have callaway 7 hybrid with the same shaft that I put in this x9 high moi 8 hybrid head. This head is every bit as good as the callaway head. In fact I would say it is better because I paid $115 less for the x9 head. It feels solid, has good turf interaction, and looks as good or better. I don’t lie to myself. If this head were junk, I would admit that I made a bad buy. Don’t waste your money on other hybrid heads.
