TOM HENSLEY about  Custom-Built i-Drive Hybrid - Black:
Aug 16, 2016
I've always hit fairway woods well but poor iron player. 60YO now and looking for better results. Bought 28-34-40 deg set for range of 90-160 yds. Shaft = TT Multi-step lite - reg flex. Hit these straight and high. Wish I had these 30 yrs ago....Shank you very much!

Advantages: Heavy headed, dense feel with compact profile helps them get through rough and weeds where conventional ironhead would twist and skew contact for errant shot. From fairway, they are very directional and produce height that holds the green. No sense that I could shape a shot left or right if I wanted to, but I'm plenty happy with straight after years of frustration with low/mid irons. Nice looking clubhead, fit & finish on par with any of the brand name clubs that you'll pay 5X the price. Assembled flawlessly. On-time, good cust svc.

Disadvantages: Distance seems best controlled by choking up the grip accordingly while maintaining a smooth full swing vs trying to vary swing length or speed. Can't get punchy. I'm hitting some shots longer than intended which will not be a problem after a few more rounds. Senior/lady flex shafts may overload (not catch up at contact). Regular flex shaft seems perfect for consistent controlled swing @ 80-85mph.

made the set 37.5in sw thru 8 iron stiff i-rod shafts. 7, 6 and 5irons, regular shafts for higher ball flight. very consistent performance.

Advantages: same swing, ball position, stance, much more consistant than my old clubs. scoring average down 3 strokes.

Disadvantages: none

I have only been able to use them a couple of times due to the weather. I have been well pleased with them these times.

Replaced my Taylormade Burner plus with the Propet CB heads. Also, shortened shafts as these Taylormade stock uniflex shafts are an inch longer than standard. These clubs blow the Taylormade away. Even though they are CB heads you can actually feel the ball (compared to Burner Plus, anyway). Even with shortened shaft yardage is longer. To sum it up Dynacraft has made a great club. Feel, length, accuracy, look ...all 5 stars. Also, offset is not as drastic. A better club all around.

Monarch service is top notch, too.

Roger Huston about  Apollo Phantom Stepless Steel Shaft:
Apr 12, 2017
Easily one of the most overlooked light weight shafts. The fact that these are stepless design and mid bend point shafts make them attractive in itself. The feel is comparable to a more expensive Japanese shaft and the R/S combo gives the club maker the ability to dial in a specific flex for his customers. I would highly recommend these and 5 stars all the way around.

Advantages: Lightweight
Easy to dial in proper flex
Price is more than competitive to other sub 100 gram shafts

Disadvantages: Not for the hard swinger
The weight may be too light for some players

Great value shaft. I have experimented with different shaft lengths and if one length doesn't work , I simply remake with another.

Great driver. I took it to the range before playing a round. After the first ball I was amazed by the flight and distance. I have a tendency to slice when I hit a bad drive. Out of half a bucket I only had one ball slice and it was not as drastic as it was. I gained from 10 to 20 yards on my drive and only had to hunt for one ball the entire round.

Advantages: Adjustable weights for helping with gaining a consistent flight trajectory.

Disadvantages: Had to tighten the allen screws during the round.

Randee Dixon about  Heater BMT Iron Head:

The Heater BMT iron heads have had a great impact on my iron play. They are very forgiving on off center hits and by far improved my contact with the ball.

Advantages: nice even weighted, and easy to shape shots

Disadvantages: none

I wanted to try very flexible shafts to see if a responsive tip would compensate some for my slowing swing speed. I installed these in the Acer XF HT iron heads. The combination proved beneficial. Video revealed the shafts loading a lot more during the downswing and releasing a lot more through the hitting area compared to both regular and stiff shafts in my other irons. On a frequency meter, the shafts behaved like much more expensive shafts. It was difficult to find the seams suggesting a well balanced construction.

Advantages: Inexpensive, solid, and light iron shafts.

Disadvantages: None.

Chuck Fears about  Integra Sooolong Fairway Wood Heads:
Aug 15, 2014
Nice all around club. Feels/sounds very solid at impact. 3 wood launches nice out of the fairway.

Advantages: 3 wood with 16 degrees is soooo much easier.

Disadvantages: Color is a little different but gets easier to look at with each great hit.

Bought AW, SW, LW. Love them, only used for 5 rounds but already my favourite clubs.
Can feel the heads all through the swing.
Rest of the set Taylor Burners but considering changing the rest of my set to these.

Advantages: Great feel right through the swing

Disadvantages: Have to convert to US dollars when I buy, doh.
Nothing to do with the heads, I know.

I am 71 yrs old have been having a problem hitting a three wood off the fairway. Problem sloved. This P-22 in 17deg loft is the bomb. I consistantly hit it 210 yrds. Would not trade it for any other brand.

Advantages: Very easy to hit.

Disadvantages: I did not find it earlier

I love this shaft. I installed it on a SMT Nemesis and cut the shaft to 47.5 inches. Increased my club head speed by 30-40 MPH and my drives are now 30 yards longer. I just bought a second one and will install it on my NIKI Vapor. I have never hit drives this long before. I bought an "A" flex and believe it to be leaning toward an "R" flex since it seems stiffer than my other Senior flex shaft. I can't wait to see how it does on the Vapor.

Advantages: Has a good swing to it. My golfing friend is going to buy one after hitting a drive with it.

Disadvantages: None right now.

I bought this shaft to replace a broken epic shaft in my Titeist driver. I had it spined and trimmed down to 44.5 which and after one round I am very impressed. It's just as long and accurate as the epic was.

Advantages: Long, straight, and relatively inexpensive.

Disadvantages: None so far

Adam about  Acer XV Pro Iron Head:

What a great set of irons. I built these with Apollo spectre lite shafts and I just love them. They have a smaller head on them than the newer style game improvement irons which is what I love about them. Buy these irons you will not regret it!!

Advantages: Still a little game improvement features but closer to a blade style, the perfect balance.

Disadvantages: The 3 iron is a bit hard to hit consistently for me.

I have tried out a lot of different shafts and I always come back to these. They are a great shaft at a great price and offer flexibility to fit them exactly to your swing. I also think they run a bit on the stiff side so I cut them to a regular tip trim, and I use stiff shafts in every thing else. They give me a nice medium high ball flight which I love. The best part about them is the price which gave me the luxury to experiment with the right stiffness for me.

Advantages: Price and quality. Best value in a shaft that you will find.

Disadvantages: None
