Works very well to center shaft in hosel when tolerances are loose.

Advantages: One jar will last a lifetime for the average personal club builder.

Had 3, 4 & 6 , Ordered # 2 & I am very pleased with the custom build! Exactly as I ordered. A very good group to work with. No doubt I will be doing more business with Monark

Advantages: A truly custom build! Quick processing & turn out.

Disadvantages: If you are Canadian the shipping & Customs cold be a drawback.

Robert Williams about  Power Play Juggernaut Mirror Wedge Head:
Jul 21, 2022
Very good sand wedge. Will not dig into sand, very easy to play. Also is good in high grass around the green.

Advantages: Great in sand and high grass.

Disadvantages: Has a lot of bounce, so is not easy to use on tight lies (but that is NOT what it is intended for so that is not a criticism of the club).

Chris Kirkendall about  WCG Max Edge Fairway Wood Heads:
Apr 1, 2023
Bought the WCG Max Edge 2-Wood (12*), paired w/ iDrive Tour Light shaft (A/R) & DriTac Lite grip, great combination, looks really good. Just got a chance to hit it today, very pleasing sound at impact, solid, nice 'click', not too loud or metallic. I was able to hit draws fairly easily. I wanted this as an option if not hitting Driver well, so far it seems to fit the bill, distance not much less than Driver. Really like the face height, less than a Driver but not so shallow that I have to worry about popping it up when teed up a bit. NOTE: Trajectory was a bit lower than expected for 12* teed up, almost like a 9* or 10* Driver. Not a problem for me, not really planning to use as a fairway club, altho I might under the right conditions.

Advantages: Clubhead workmanship is top-notch - I didn't expect that from such a low-priced head, but it exceeded my expectations, looks better than the photos, every bit as good as a Callaway, Titleist, TM or any major brand you've seen. No distracting graphics on top or sole of the club, but looks classy. Face is just beautiful, great dimensions, decent-size hitting area, pleasing dimensions. Clubhead shape is modern/traditional looking, inspires confidence at address. Penetrating trajectory, which I like. Great value for the money. This will likely be my go-to club on tight holes or when Driver's not working! I recommend to anyone looking for an option off the tee if your Driver is a problem.

Disadvantages: None that I've seen so far - very pleased w/ performance, look, feel & sound...

Good feel in my hand. Lighter weight than most steel shafts. Flex point is excellent for my swing

Advantages: Lighter weight than other steel shafts.
Higher ball flight.
Less variation in distance or direction

Disadvantages: Not as long as graphite

Bradley Harris about  Heater B-7 Iron Heads:
Oct 18, 2023
Bought a set of these heads and paired them with Apollo Spectre Lite Steel shafts. I like the fact they have less offset and are a little more compact. To me they seem forgiving and the ball feels good at impact when hit in the sweet spot.

Advantages: The feel is good off the club face and the lofts are strong to try and keep distances equal to the big brands. The price is great as well on these heads.

Disadvantages: I noticed some of my balls were getting shredded quickly from the grooves on the club.

Put this shaft on my Callaway Maverick driver 2" shorter than stock. Midsized grips. First called ahead with questions. Competent technicians! Club feels light and natural. Performance is perfect. Second one I purchased.

Advantages: Made to order. Club head control, grip, and swing speed all working together perfectly.

Disadvantages: None

Objectively speaking, this is a good performing shaft with soft feel. I have some serious problem in my swing mechanism, which I am working on. Feels on shaft are improving as my swing improves, but this shaft is a bit stiffer than my expectation. FYI, I used to use Asian "R" shafts, but this U.S. "A" shaft is not softer than (or not as soft as) my previous one. All in all, this is still a good shaft but you have to go for "L" if you want a real "A" like me.

Follow up on above review. At my Home course I shot in the high 90's to low 100's. After 3 rounds I am in the high 80's and low 90's (124 slope rating) I made a very good decision to go to Hybrids!

David Cibula about  Rexton V-Line Red Golf Grips:
Jul 24, 2022
Good grips. I’ve used Golf Pride grips for years. I’m 67 and a 6 handicap. When grips got harder to find and prices went up I tried Rexton and ended up liking them so much I put them on my entire set.

Advantages: I play 5 days a week and spend hours on the range. My new Rexton grips are holding as good as my old Golf Pride. I have found the red V line grips have helped my game from 150 yards into the green. I like the feel on my wedges with Rexton and control the spin better.

Disadvantages: I don’t see any negatives with the red V line grips.

Other locations list the SK Fiber Pro 115 shaft strictly as a putter shaft but I installed it on a 58 degree wedge and it will be interesting to see how it works when golf season arrives in New York.

Advantages: Yet to use it

Disadvantages: none

bhold about  Acer XV HT Iron Head:
Jul 2, 2021
I shafted the 4 and 5 irons with FST 90 steel shafts A flex. About 10 yards longer than my old clubs and higher trajectory, which is what I wanted. This is a great option for senior golfers.

Advantages: Excellent on par 3s off a tee or from a good lie in the fairway. I have distance control problems with higher lofted woods and have never liked the appearance of hybrids so these HT heads fill a necessary gap for me. (I wish a 3 iron was available.)

Disadvantages: 1.) I have not had much success with these from slightly heavy lies, maybe due to the wide sole, still working on figuring it out. 2.) Lack of inventory availability, even worse than buying TP in 2020. I hope Monark can re-stock soon.

Steve Brown about  i-Drive Hybrid Head:
Apr 6, 2023
I purchased 5 iDrive hybrid heads, 4-8. They are just as good as name brand equipment; PXG, Callaway, Taylormade, etc. and these look like Callaway heads!

Advantages: Very good price point. Easier (for me) to make good contact and hit the ball better. The ball doesn’t go much further, but I have better control and better direction on non perfect hits

Disadvantages: None
